Patch
installation instructions for updating to 2.1.7b
Make
sure you have downloaded the correct patch.
Note
that this is to upgrade from version 2.1.7a to 2.1.7b ONLY.
Users with version 2.1.6
should download and run the patch to upgrade to 2.1.7a first and then
use the 2.1.7a to 2.1.7b upgrade patch.
"Spice
2.1.7a->2.1.7b PPC Patch" is for PowerPC users who haven't
already upgraded to 2.1.7a
"Spice
2.1.7a->2.1.7b 68K Patch" is for Macintoshes with 680x0
processor users who haven't already upgraded to 2.1.7a
If
your browser has not already decoded the files, do so using BinHex
or StuffIt. Either way, the name should no longer have ".hqx"
appended to it.
Now run
the file
The
program will prompt you to select the folder the contains B2
Spice 2. Do so, making sure that you are actually inside the
appropriate folder, then click on the "Install into xxxxx"
button, xxxxx being the folder that contains the programs.
After
the program finishes, you can confirm the update by running Workshop
and choosing "About Workshop" under the Apple Menu. It
should say version 2.1.7b.
You can
now delete the patch or keep it in case you might have to re-install
B2 Spice 2.
