Macintosh Logic Patch Disk Instructions

Make sure that the current version you are using is version 3.0.16. To check the version number, run the program and look under the APPLE menu "about B-Squared Logic." Any version other than 3.0.16 will cause the patch to fail.

Download the Logic patch

If your browser doesn't automatically decode the binhexed file, do so using StuffIt or UnStuffIt. The file is decoded when it no longer has the .hqx after the file name.

Run the patch by double clicking on it.

The program will prompt you to locate the folder containing the Logic 3.0 program. Do so and click "Install int foldername", with foldername being the folder containing the Logic Program.

After it is done, the program will say that the installation was successful. You can verify that the patch has worked by running Logic 3.0 and looking under the "about B-Squared Logic" under the APPLE menu. It should say version 3.0.16a
