B2 Spice v.5 Cross Probing

 

New for B2 Spice A/D v5 is the ability to cross probe circuits. In addition to the voltmeter, ammeter, and markers that traditionally designate node to display on the output graph, probes can also perform this function.

Just place probes at the desired points on your circuit and run the Test of your choice. The resulting graph will automatically display the node voltages/currents designated by the probes.

What sets the probes apart from markers and meters is the ability to update the graph display by moving the probes around the circuit. Relocating the probes to a new location will update the graph to reflect the new voltage or current according to the location of the probe.

Also, adding new probes will also add the resulting node voltage or current plots to the graph.
