I'm the author of B2 Spice A/D v5 and the president of Beige Bag Software. I'm proud to offer complimentary copies of B2 Spice A/D v5 to you and your students.

Since I was a teaching assistant at U-Michigan in the late 80's, I've had a dream of making a positive impact on the education of students. With its virtual instruments and 'circuit animation' and live interface, B2 Spice is a great circuit simulator for exploring and designing analog and digital and mixed a/d circuits. Also, B2 Spice A/D v5 has been on the market and tested and fixed for a few years now, so you can be sure that it works correctly and rarely crashes.

We are offering free unlimited use copies of B2 Spice A/D v5 for instructors. If you know other instructors who might be interested, then please forward this page to them. And we are offering your students free, full featured, time-limited versions of our software (licensed for the duration of your circuits class). This will allow your students to use B2 Spice to experiment with circuits on their home machines for the duration of your course.

I realize that you are probably using other software (e.g. Multisim, or PSpice) along with your classes. And I realize that the inertia against change is great... but please give B2 Spice a chance. Again, this version that I am offering isn't limited in circuit size or part libraries or capabilities like the competitor products are.

We will reply with your personal unlimited program license. If you also want a license for your students, include a date upon which the students' license can expire. Please note that the student license is valid only for the current term. You can renew this with every new term, but the license can only be valid for a maximum of 6 months.
